Family Sunday

Our first Family Sunday on October 2nd was a great success: we discussed the different ways that we worship God together at church during our service.  Kids also began to create their own color-coded prayer books, which they will complete by next May.  Our next Family Sunday Sunday is November 6th, when we will celebrate All Saints Day and also learn about Baptism.

October Sunday School: Jacob and Esau

As kids hear the story of Jacob and Esau, they learn how impatience, cheating, and lying can cause hurt and brokenness in families.  More important, though, the kids learn how God blessed Jacob's family anyway, and that these same promises and blessings are available to families today.

Jacob and Esau Memory Verse (October 9, 16, 23)

First Bible Bucks Store: November 13

Remember to encourage your kids to learn their memory verses to earn Bible Bucks for the Bible Bucks store!  Each Sunday at Sunday school, kids have an opportunity to say the current memory verse and earn Bible Bucks.  They can spend these at the Bible Bucks store and buy fun items for themselves.  If you did not receive a copy of the Fall, 2012 Bible verses, please ask for one the next time you bring your kids to Sunday school
