Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) International is a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian organization whose purpose is to reach out to pregnant women and mothers of children age 5 and younger to provide them with friendship, community, encouragement, and support.
Offering local MOPS groups, such as Christ Church Denver MOPS, is one way they achieve this purpose.

Christ Church Denver MOPS Meetings
We typically meet the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month (with a few exceptions) September through May from 9–11 a.m. at Christ Church Denver: 2950 S. University Blvd., Denver, CO 80210. Brunch and childcare are provided at all onsite meetings! Our 2016–2017 meeting schedule is as follows:
Jan. 6 and 20
Feb. 3 and 17
March 3 and 17
April 7 and 21
Oct. 7 and 21
Nov. 4 and 18
Dec. 1 and 15
Details about each meeting will be posted to our Facebook page and emailed as the date nears, so make sure we have your email address on file. We often meet at parks during the summer months; that schedule will be announced in May.
To ensure all our moms have a chance to recharge kid- and baby-free, we offer childcare in the church nursery for those kindergarten age and younger. Our MOPPETS workers are experienced, qualified, trusted childcare providers; we are happy to provide you with more details about them upon request.
Childcare drop-off begins at 8:45 a.m. and pickup is at 11:15. We ask that little ones come with an extra diaper and their own sippy cup/bottle. A light snack is provided for all children of appropriate age unless otherwise instructed.
- Who can attend MOPS?
Any pregnant woman or mother of a child kindergarten age or younger.
- What if I’m running late to a meeting?
We would rather you come late than not at all, so please don’t hesitate to sneak in after 9 a.m.
- Can I bring a friend with me to a meeting?
Yes! Visitors are welcome to attend a meeting at no charge so they can see if it’s the right fit for them.
- What are my responsibilities as a member?
This is easy as one, two, three:
1) Respect and encourage the other moms in our group.
2) Respect speakers by keeping side conversations to a minimum.
3) Sign up to help with brunch at least once a semester.
- Can I promote my businesses at MOPS?
While we want to be supportive of our moms, we ask that no one advertise their business at our gatherings—whether direct sales or otherwise. You’re welcome to tell people what you do (of course!) and if someone wants to know more, please feel free to follow up with them outside the group.
