Praising the Lord at all times
One of my favorite chapters in the Bible is Psalm 34. It starts off with: "I will praise the Lord at ALL times. I will constantly speak His praises. I will boast only in the Lord; let all who are helpless take heart. Come, let us tell of the Lord's greatness; let us exalt His name TOGETHER." (Verses 1-3 NLT).
I love these verses because they call us to worship together as a body. We need our church community to call us into worship when we don't have the strength to get there alone. It is so easy to get caught up in the daily grind and find all the negative things to dwell on, but the Word calls us to praise the Lord at ALL times. Think on this for a moment! He loves us and He is calling us into His perfect love. That should be enough for us to fall on our faces in awe. The God of the Universe loves each and every one of us! "No height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation. will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:39 NIV).
I don't know about anyone else, but that gets me excited. It is because of His mercy, grace and love that I live to worship and praise Him at all times!
