Grief & Loss Bible Study

When dealing with a painful loss, we often ask ourselves questions such as, What am I going to do with my life? How will I get through each day? What if I never stop crying? Why did God let this happen?

Join us on Sunday mornings (Room 215) for this Bible Study focusing on Psalms. This study will help anyone in the difficult journey of grieving a loss, whether it’s a loss of a loved one, a marriage, a job, a home, or getting a difficult medical diagnosis. Each study is dedicated to an emotion common to the grieving process: denial, fear, anger, guilt, sadness, hope, faith , acceptance and praise. The psalm for each study deals with the same emotion and helps us understand God’s role and power in our healing. Through discussion and personal reflection we can better understand these stages of grieving and apply the practical suggestions offered.

This group is facilitated by parishioners Judy Boyles, Janice Woodward and JoEllen McGugan
