At the writing of this report my wife JoEllen is officially three years cancer free. We have another two years to go until she is declared cured of Lymphoma. We are deeply thankful to God for His mercy and the faithful support of Christ Church.

Part of the strategic vision adopted by the vestry in 2024 includes developing a Whole-Life Discipleship Paradigm. Whole-Life discipleship is an ongoing process of learning to Be With, Become Like, and Live Like Jesus in seven fundamental areas of practice and growth.

On behalf of the vestry, we want to reiterate the honor and privilege it is to serve the members of Christ Church. We look back on the last year and we are grateful for one another and for the support each of you all have provided to us.

The Narthex aims to build digital capacity for traditional ‘analog’ churches, helping them engage both congregants and those outside the church through online ministry.

With the Vision, Mission, and Strategic Plan in the hands of the Rector and Vestry, I will be stepping away from that work, save developing a proposal for a comprehensive Welcome and Incorporation Ministry for those interested in and/or new to CCD.

Psalm 100 perfectly summarizes the joy and purpose of our Worship at Christ Church. Our hearts overflow with love for the Lord, and we want to bring Him praise and glory.

Worship Expansion has emerged as a clear strategy to meet the needs of several goals: attracting new members, creating offerings with our local neighborhood in mind, deepening formation through various worship styles, to name a few.

Mission/Vision - To welcome, educate, integrate and relationally connect newcomers to life and ministry of Christ Church.

Christ Church is blessed with an abundance of talent and energy offering musical excellence to the Glory of God. Volunteer and staff musicians work together seamlessly each week to produce a unique blend of ancient and modern musical styles.

Christ Church Denver has been blessed with a beautiful building and lovely grounds, and the Facilities team considers it a privilege to be able to maintain, improve and manage our property, both inside and out.

As always, we continue to look for ways to help folks get connected and deepen in relationship with one another in Christ. This can take place over coffee after a service or through more intentional times of connection.

We learn to Be with, Become like, and Live Like Jesus, across all sorts of teaching and reflecting opportunities at Christ Church. From regular preaching series on Sundays, to ongoing Bible Study, as well as in-person discussion groups, and online offerings, there is a rich assortment to choose from.

Christ Church Children’s Ministry seeks to teach kids to be with Jesus, to become like Jesus and to live like Jesus in the world. To do this, Children’s Ministry offers supervised Biblical learning in a joyful and child-centered environment.

Another year has passed and the youth ministry continues to be anchored to the clear purpose of Christ Church: “To restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ.”

Treasureland Preschool, a ministry of Christ Church Denver, is a relationship-driven early childhood program where we are dedicated to nurturing the whole child and partnering with families within our learning community.

It is hard to believe that it has been two years since I started the position of Pastoral Care Coordinator. I am honored to be a part of “those times” in your life where you have a spiritual or prayerful need.

The mission of Outreach at Christ Church is, "To Restore Hope to a Suffering World and Be Transformed Into the Likeness of Christ." We align our work with the purpose of Christ Church Denver (CCD) and are committed to forming whole-life disciples of Jesus for the world.

Christ Church concluded the fiscal year with a positive net income of $7,711, a testament to both higher-than-expected revenue and lower-than-estimated expenses.
