New Vestry Candidates 2025

For over 28 wonderful years, my husband Kevin and I have been grateful to call Christ

Church our home. We are incredibly blessed to have raised our three sons, Colin (28), Noah (24), and Henry (16), surrounded by prayer and faithful, inspiring people who want to be with, become like, and live like Jesus.

As members of Christ Church, we have hosted both short-term and long-term life groups and jointly led Sunday school and marriage preparation classes. Years ago, we created and oversaw a monthly missions-minded potluck dinner for families. Serving in children’s ministries has been a delight for me throughout my time at CEC. I have also served on the Vestry twice before and am a former member of the Outreach Commission. One of my most humbling and joy-filled roles here at church was being part of Fr. Terry’s Search Committee.

Away from church, I loved the eighteen years I spent focused on raising our boys and serving as an active school and community volunteer. As Colin began his senior year of high school and Henry started kindergarten, I returned to professional work as a psychologist. Growing my private practice, which specializes in psycho-educational assessment for children, has been incredibly rewarding, and I am blessed every day through my work and the families I serve.

Michele Pierson

Hello. My name is Michele Pierson. I am a life-long, ‘cradle’ Episcopalian. While some people say they are ‘born into the church,” for me it was almost a literal event as my mom was in preparations for a Madrigal Dinner when I decided I wanted to see what this world was about.

I moved out to Denver for college and started attending Christ Church at the beginning of 2000 to augment my youth ministries degree studies at Colorado Christian University. I volunteered with the youth ministry leadership team for 13 years. I’ve been part of the lector team, music ministry, diocesan convention delegate and a VBS volunteer. While serving with the youth, I changed majors to Technical Communications at Metro State where I graduated. I used my degree to become a cornerstone of the AV team where I worked to build our current crew assisting with the graphics, audio, and livestream. More recently I have also taken on the role of the Weekend Away coordinator.

I married my husband Adam in 2012 and convinced him to join the tech team in 2014. In 2015 we welcomed Annagrace into our lives, followed by James in 2018. They are the light of our lives and are the inspiration for Terry’s “let your feral children run free” line when marketing the Weekend Away. (In-person demonstrations are available after the 10:30 AM service.) Monday through Friday I can be found shining Christ’s light in corporate America as a business insurance property and casualty underwriter.

I’m honored to have been selected to serve as a vestry member for Christ Church.
