st. francis center

St. Francis Center is a refuge for men and women who are homeless in the metro Denver area, providing shelter along with services that enable people to meet their basic needs for daily survival and to transition out of homelessness.

Here is how you can help St. Francis Center:

  • Volunteer at the day center, 2323 Curtis Street. The St. Francis Center is open 7 days each week, with volunteer opportunities available each day at varying times.  Currently, the days that are shortest on volunteers are Mondays and Wednesdays, with the most volunteers scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  You could also help by spreading the word that volunteers are needed for those days specifically! If you, or anyone you know, is interested please contact Sarah Taylor, Director of Volunteers and Community Engagement at the St. Francis Center, saraht@sfcdenver.org.

  • Donate items to the Blessing Box for St. Francis Center. List of items here

  • Attend the St. Francis Center Fall Gala or the Spring Luncheon
